Maggie, who was one of the first patients to undergo a full blood exchange, is calling on people to give the gift of blood this Christmas.
Maggie was born with Rhesus disease and had the life-saving transfusion in the year the NHS was established - 1948.

In 2020 The Hamilton Commission was launched by Mission 44 Founder, @LewisHamilton, to look into the lack of representation in motorsport. The landmark report resulted in the creation of Mission 44 and work to empower the next generation of STEM leaders from underserved communities. But it also called on the industry to do more, recommending a F1 Charter to increase collaboration and commitment within the sport. Today we welcome the announcement of the F1 Diversity & Inclusion Charter by @F1, @fia and all F1 teams. At Mission 44 we believe greater collaboration is key and we are pleased to see the impact of our work playing such an important role. We look forward to continuing to work with F1, FIA, teams and wider industry to create long term systemic change and ensure all young people see themselves represented in the sport.
