@ecbanks Yeah I reckon, if only because there's a bigger and more active user base now, so you'll get a more accurate idea of whether it works for you. Like Twitter, it's only as good as the accounts you're following. I've not seen many RSS reposts, but I have seen many blog-sized posts.

@TracketPacer Aah thank you! I wrote it all by myself (well, my mum helped me with the first bit, and with the drawings, and the middle bit, and also the end bit, but I did all the rest)

BTW it was super easy to sign up. No idea what the fuss was about with it being difficult. You go to their site, you choose a server, you sign up, you wait a bit, and then that's it. If, like me, you were put off based purely on the stories of faff and difficulty: it's a breeze.
