He didn't even assault an officer, he was pepper sprayed then restrained and his gun was taken away. The gun fired on its own because it was a Sig and that's when the ice officers got spooked and started to shoot him

He was directly interfering in ICE/CBP operations with his slack group against officers by illegally directing traffic.
In addition he assaulted officers and actively resisted arrest while reaching for his holster while already being confirmed as a threat

Look, I don't outright hate jjk. Overall, it's at best a 7/10 series. To me, there really isn't much to it. There's no real depth to the story, it's just cool fights, characters and aura farming.
