I panicked and closed my laptop. Opened Slack to look busy. Realized there was nothing to do. Took a walk. Got coffee. Reorganized my desk. Took another walk. It's now 11am the next day and I'm writing this tweet because I genuinely don't know what my job is anymore. My calendar is empty. My to-do list is empty. My inbox is empty. I have a 1:1 with my manager at 2pm and I'm trying to figure out how to explain that I'm both more productive than ever and also completely useless.

Dr Insanity is a perfect example of a faceless YouTube channel Yeah, everyone knows this channel but oh my god it's sooooo perfect A lot of people forget that this channel started LESS than 3 years ago That might sound like a long time but it's actually insane how short that is Let's say this channel has an average RPM of $10 across the whole channel He has 850,000,000 views 850,000,000 / 1,000 x $10 = $8,500,000 That's $8.5 million JUST from AdSense This is not from sponsorships or anything like that. He also has those btw His videos are extremely good though The power of YouTube is insane. Absolutely insane Of course this is an outlier… but everything is possible
