I've fired more "qualified" people than unqualified ones. The resume looked perfect. 4.0 GPA. Skills were there. But they couldn't figure shit out when it got messy. Meanwhile, the hungriest hires? They learn faster bc they have to. They ask better questions bc they care. They don't hide behind "that's not my role." Skills depreciate every 6 months anyways. Not curiosity. I'll take someone who's obsessed with figuring it out over someone who's already figured it out. EVERY TIME. One keeps growing. The other plateaus and collects a check. Skills can be taught, especially with AI + everything online. Drive? Not so much.

Gymshark entered fitness apparel, scaled to ~$700M+ in annual rev. Content. Ecom. SaaS. Food & bev. Doesn’t matter what it is. There’s always a new angle. A sharper hook. If u can’t find it and ship faster than everyone else… That’s on U. Not the market.
