@NovarFLIP I actually agree with this! I also think it learnt from UK HipHop’s “mistakes”. Whether consciously or not. Early Grime beats reminded me of early HipHop beats (DMX era) in their naivety and simplicity. That said, I don’t think Grime could have happened without UK HipHop.
