I’ve sat back and kept my mouth shut on a lot of things. I can no longer do it.
I’m not upset with Elon, but I’m definitely not happy with whoever is responsible for the integrity of what’s going on with X.
You can take pay and shove it out the window. Does the situation affect payouts? It most certainly does. My bigger gripe is the lack of accountability for what’s happening here.
We were told to start posting in certain ways and about certain things. I’ve tried it all, and it doesn’t matter. The inconsistency is insanely bad. It’s not just my account—I believe this is the case for 90% of users here.
It’s one thing to come here and have fun, which we should, but it’s another when things get flipped upside down for the worse and no one wants to discuss it or take accountability.
If this is the new normal, then say it. If it’s due to changes that were made and it’s being looked into, then just say it.
Add in the terrible customer service, and the whole experience is worse. I’ve been at this for over a year and haven’t seen numbers like this since about three months in.
Will life go on? It will. Am I going to lose sleep? No.
Paying accounts and those who have supported this app for years deserve better. That is all.
You can’t tell me the people in charge at X don’t see what’s going on.
I’m not asking for much, and I won’t rant every day about it. I do expect some accountability and answers, though. I’ve been in business and promoting products for years, and this isn’t how you treat the people who help keep the lights on.
Please consider addressing this situation.

I think that’s the point - Google is trying to slowly train its users to type longer more conversational prompts so it can ultimately push them toward a default AI Mode

Bruce Springsteen is reportedly receiving an increasing number of death threats during his politically charged Land of Hope and Dreams Tour.
The trek has seen Springsteen speak out against the Trump administration, including policies on Iran and ICE, leading to heightened backlash. Springsteen and Donald Trump have traded public insults for years, and tensions appear to be escalating among some supporters.
E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt told the Daily Mail that security has been significantly increased: “There’s been a lot of threats, death threats… this time it’s been increasing.”

Artist and producer here — yes, this is 100% true if they really cared about artists. But Spotify gets to take an additional cut by doing it like they are.
Another unfortunate side effect of this will be that all this new ai fan remix slop will clog up the platform and lower human artists’ plays and exposure even further.

I’ve loved it… until the last 2 years when the homepage started getting cluttered with tons of bullshit. Promo pop-ups, paid artist placements, recommendations that I’d NEVER listen to in a million years. Most egregious of all are the “Created by Spotify” playlists, which are given top visibility over user-created lists and crowd out the entire reason many of us loved Spotify: personalization and curation by users, especially fans of underground genres like me. Furthermore, I want to support other curators who have great taste in music, but Spotify pushes Playlist Creators further and further down in searches in favor of their awful corporate bullshxt playlists. When I open the app, all I want to see are the playlists I’ve created and Discover Weekly — that’s it. It used to be like that. Now, I often have to scroll several PAGES to get to those, and even then there’s extra clicks that didn’t exist before. And I couldn’t care less about the new Podcasts and Audiobooks sections. Give the Premium user the option to opt the fxxk out of all this bullshxt.
