The Dallas Mavericks were never supposed to get Cooper Flagg, the fact we did pissed people off. We were supposed to be downtrodden for a decade following the Doncic trade. Cooper not winning RoTY is not based off merit, it’s based off retribution for a perceived injustice.

In my NBA watching life I've never seen the Cooper Flagg not winning ROY scenario.

The Hornets aren't the Hornets without Kon. Spacing wise, defensively, passing. As much as it is Melo and BMill cooking, they were 7-13 when healthy last year, so obviously there is a missing link. Thats Kon's impact

He has been the third option on the 10th seed in a weak east. If cooper was in Charlotte the hornets would likely be a 4 seed.
