Sony shooters: OWC's new CFExpress Type A Atlas Pro cards w/ adapter in an OWC Type B reader are clocking 1349/1571 MB/s Write/Read using AJA System test. More than double current type A speeds/type A reader. Well done @OWCLarry

The American flag mounted to Odysseus' side closeout panel was certified for flight in 1970, during the height of the Apollo program. The NASA-donated flag didn't leave Earth during the Apollo program, but Odysseus completed its mission to the lunar surface on February 22, 2024.

An extra orbit can't hurt - looking forward to a soft landing ahead. Looking forward to coverage starting!

Flight controllers chose to exercise an additional orbit before starting the IM-1 Mission landing sequence. The new anticipated landing time is 1724 CST. We expect the landing stream to start on the IM-1 web page and NASA TV at 1600 CST. The content on both streams is identical. (22FEB2024 1330 CST)

@ExtremeStorms @RichardTaylorTV The 1M2 is a touch faster for Read while the Thunderblade is real world faster for full capacity write. Thunderblade goes past 8TB and up to 32TB and offers the RAID-1/4/5/10 redundant options... 1M2 is single blade bus-powered performer. Some workflow intersection & uniqueness.

oh I like the specs of the Express 1M2, I have not used it. Looks like a single NVMe, bus powered, and a tad faster than Thunderblades which require a power adapter. As far as FCPx performance vs RAID5? I just don't know, I've only used Thunderblades. @OWCLarry probably knows. The 8TB Express NVMe is cheaper than what I paid for my 4TB Thunderblade a few years ago. The Express would be perfect for road trips, maybe get one a NAB.

When you need speed and reliability -where you can't lose a shot - nothing beats everything from OWC for capture to completion. Atlas Lens pushing it, showing off their new lenses, with amazing captures - and all with @poweredbyowc. youtube.com/watch?v=TU5Umj…
