Black Youtubers agree with Nick Fuentes on black vіоӏеոcе "Black people are vіоӏеոt, period. I don't like these people, I don't want to be around them!"

DHH: Programming language should read like poetry Me: Poetry is usually hard to understand A PL should have minimal and easy to use rules to remember. I guess this is why people find Lua simple.

Being a developer is 10% writing code … .. . and 90% searching StackOverflow for what you just wrote.

When was the last time a new programming language dropped? feels like we stopped caring. everyone's just chasing AI models now. Do you even miss new languages?

As a .NET C# software engineer and upcoming software architecture I would like to state that loops are the worst thing in software design and you can't change my mind

Developers, what’s your "backup plan" now that AI writes better code than you?

Bro I'm so fucking sick of pretending this is normal. AI was trained on Stack Overflow answers written by developers who got zero dollars and zero credit, and now those same developers are losing their jobs to the thing their free labor built. We built the rope. They just used it.

AI agents already writes better code than 90% of developers. You cant tell me there are many developers who write better code than Claude. And even if there are, the work they do wont be sustainable. There will be 10 other mediocre devs working with Claude at the door ready to be hired. Now the only barrier left is marketing those apps. Just as before, right ?

Coding agents love C# optional parameters: public void DoThing(ILogger? logger = null) The agent saves itself the effort of updating call sites. However, now null checks are everywhere because the value is "optional" but actually required. Peak C# slop generation 🫠

Nobody is actually learning anything new anymore. Why bother trying to understand how things work when you can just ask AI to give you the answer? Everyone around is getting so lazy. The response to any difficult task now is just: why should I learn this if I can just prompt it? People are completely giving up on their own brains and they're actually proud of it. And honestly, it just makes me sad to watch.

@Shreyassanthu77 I watch Rich Hickey videos while I do cardio. Even if I have watched one of his videos a thousand times I always seem to have something new to think about!

data should not have behavior attached to them. just keep it as data! this whole objects and methods thing usually makes you think in a way that is not really optimal for the cpu or memory or readability OOP ruined our brains
