@Tayshoujo The thing is you don’t talk about the misogyny in the country but put the whole blame in Islam as if it doesn’t condemn bad people 💀

@vampchic61 More Muslims have been killed by atheists and christians in the last 150 years than ex-muslims have been killed in 1400 years. Ex-muslims literally have zero problem as long as they don’t search for the problems themselves

Islamophobia isn't a real thing when you live in the middle east and can get killed for just leaving the religion or criticizing it

@MishaLocki The narrative is based on what they see in the media about the middle east. Then decided it represents the religion as a whole. I mean these people wouldn't say this if their media shows more about Indonesian muslims, or Brunei's.

@MishaLocki It's always about how the hijab is misogynistic but it's never about the culture somehow

I’m afraid that’s not yours or anyone else’s call to make other than the Muslim women themselves. Everyone’s experience with their religion is different and being modest doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s oppressive (it’s a matter of culture)

@femmthusiast Just remember ONE thing, our God never forcing someone to be perfect on iman. Whenever someone know "oh, i do something tht forbidden in religion, i have 2 be more better person cuz ik its haram" its the real things of iman. Just be better from before, to human and to ur iman

taking off your hijab while still holding on to islam makes no sense. i mean you have already stopped following one of its core rules. and you know damn well that hijab is not a choice in this religion

@femmthusiast Not wearing hijab is a sin however it’s not one of the 5 pillars. Meaning you are still a Muslim.

@femmthusiast Just cause a Christian doesn't go to church on Sunday doesn't take them out of the fold of Christianity, similarly taking off the hijab doesn't take you out of the fold of Islam.

@loona_looin @StepOut__Voices @Setawnic Feminism is not a Choice and has always fighting against Religions and their enablers(Men and Women allike). I don't understand why are you fighting for them and instead replacing their Hijabs with other Veiling which were used in Pre-Islam.

@StepOut__Voices @Setawnic You're spitting truth. If anything muslim women who choose to follow their religion would make valuable allies because they know the importance of CHOICE.

@Setawnic As I've already said: we are living it differently. We are also taught differently. Enforcing it is wrong. But taking away a womans choice for it or lumping their choice into the same box as what iranian girls have to go through is also wrong BECAUSE they live it differently

Why are people attacking op when they're right? The key point here is CHOICE. Woman should be able to choose if they want to wear one. I understand in some countries women are forced to wear them---
Misha☆@MishaLocki

Never understood this growing narrative that ALL hijabis are oppressed and that drawing characters with a hijab is seen as a bad thing. Like NO many ppl who wear it are happy and fulfilled and this should be represented more in media nowadays

@Setawnic I live in Pakistan and no one forces hijab lol. My sister sometimes wear it and sometimes not at all, even after moving outside. Most Muslim dense countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia don't have any state specific restrictions on dress code.

@krigiamf @Setawnic This literally happened last month by the way. There is no privilege in the west if you are a BIPOC, no matter how hard you try to appeal to white supremacy when given the choice. npr.org/2026/05/20/nx-…
