Happy for Hudson, but I can’t lie it’s gross being a feeder school to New Mexico. Maybe I’m crazy, but it’s not really that big of a jump. I’d like to see us spend the resources and hold on to guys including Olen and all those that left last year until the Power 6 comes calling.

Tomorrow, Albuquerque is taking action on gun safety and I want to make sure you know about it.
APD is hosting a gun buyback event tomorrow, Saturday, April 11th from 9 AM to 12 PM at the UNM Substation (1009 Bradbury Drive SE). Over the years, this program has taken 4,000 firearms off our streets. If you have an unwanted firearm at home, you can turn it in for cash, no questions asked, plus tickets to Isotopes and New Mexico United games.
- $250 for assault weapon
- $200 for semiautomatic rifles and handguns
-$100 for rifles and shotguns
Get there early, as cash supplies are limited. This is a win for families, a win for our communities, and a win for New Mexico.
