Today, local business and education partners experienced the @BCSDBrunswickMS Career Readiness Labs in action! After last month's ribbon-cutting, this showcase allowed visitors to see 8th graders working on modules in sports medicine, nursing, home maintenance, flight technology, and veterinary care, to name a few. Guests toured the labs and talked with students about their projects, teamwork experiences, and newfound interests. These labs connect learning to real-world applications, helping students discover their strengths while exploring diverse career paths. Thanks to everyone who attended and to Mrs. Ebert, Mr. Fudale, and Ms. Rhoads for making this innovative program possible! Elementary teachers across the district are being trained today on the Paxton Patterson Career Discovery Labs. Each elementary school is receiving six labs filled with four lessons each.

Our principals across the district met this morning at the middle school and were given a sneak peek of the new career labs. The Paxton Patterson College and Career Ready Labs give students hands-on lessons in a variety of career modules.
