It doesn’t upset me if you think the earth is Flat, what’s concerning is you trying to run for office and poising to make critical decisions for everyone else, because then, you become DANGEROUS.

I’ll Send You to the opposition party to Scatter Them — Tinubu to Akpabio President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stirred reactions after jokingly suggesting he could send Senate President Godswill Akpabio to the opposition camp to destabilize them. Tinubu made the remark on Tuesday while delivering his speech at the inauguration of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) headquarters in Abuja. Speaking humorously during the event, the President said, “Senate President, I will send you to the other side to represent me. And then you can scatter them to any way you want. They’re confused!” He concluded his speech with a patriotic message, saying, “God bless Nigeria, God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria and the tax collectors.”

Ogun State Government - OGSG
PRESS RELEASE OGUN STATE GOVERNMENT RESPONDS TO FLOODING ALONG IPERU–ILISHAN ROAD The Ogun State Government wishes to address the flooding incidents recently observed along the Iperu–Ilishan Road corridor and to reassure residents and road users of ongoing efforts to resolve the situation promptly. Preliminary assessments indicate that the flooding recorded at a tiller-seller’s shop in Iperu Town occurred largely because the structure is situated below the current road level. This was further compounded by the obstruction of the drainage channel in front of the shop, which impeded the free flow of stormwater and led to overflow. Further assessment revealed that a heap of laterite, remnants from earlier construction works, clogged sections of the drainage channel along the corridor. This obstruction significantly impeded the discharge of stormwater and contributed to the flooding experienced. It is also important to note that the intensity of the rainfall at the time was unusually high, which increased stormwater volume. In response, His Excellency, the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON has directed the immediate mobilization of equipment to site to clear all clogged sections, remove laterite blockages, and fully open up the affected drainage channels, including the outfall/discharge channels away from the road, to restore the free flow of stormwater. As an interim measure, labourers have already been deployed and are currently clearing and packing the accumulated sand and laterite from the drainage paths, pending the arrival of a grader and other heavy-duty equipment to expedite the process and ensure a thorough cleanup. We are pleased to inform the public that the water has since receded, and the road surface is now dry. The Ogun State Government remains committed to ensuring effective drainage management and maintaining critical infrastructure across the state. Residents are kindly advised to refrain from indiscriminate dumping of refuse in drainage channels, as this significantly affects their functionality. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of the public as these remedial efforts continue. Signed: Engr. Ade Akinsanya Commissioner for Works, Ogun State

The jinx is broken! The moment Governor Dapo Abiodun announced Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) as the flagbearer of the APC for the 2027 gubernatorial election in Ogun State. The first governor in the history of Ogun State to declare his successor peacefully.

Globally, today we are 50% lower than the price, and that's because you allow local refineries to work. Thank you, Mr President, that we don't have a queue today. — Zacch Adedeji, Chairman, Nigeria Revenue Service, defends fuel price at the commissioning of the new NRS building.

@Remypalz77 @Ozedikus Have you seen me justify ApC or their leadership? That APC is worst doesn’t mean PDD was good na. This is not mutually exclusive at all. Education, power, industrialization, health, Hdi all were still poor.

@Plug_xox @Dinnydavinci @Letter_to_Jack They always find a way to be unhappy, even with good news—it’s like progress unsettles them. The people of Ogun support him because of his track record, consistency, and how he carries his people along. Yes, he’s been APC from day one,but his results speak louder than party lines

@PolitianTamed @Tonderayi2Carre @Cde_begar @elonmusk Don’t compare it with other African countries who didn’t have the privilege of higher iq humans building their countries for them! International oil companies help us mine and discover our oil. We don’t have the sophistication for that yet.

@Plug_xox @Tonderayi2Carre @Cde_begar @elonmusk People just talk in these streets, infrastructure is on the decline in SA? The standard of living? First compare it to african countries, Starlink isnt here to contribute anything just like international oil companies in nigeria? They contribute nothing but people use propaganda

Fashola was not Tinubu's slot from Lagos during Buhari's tenure. He was introduced to compete with the Asiwaju by the cabals during Buhari's tenure. Since then, their relationship has not been that smooth, but they manage it well with the ọmọlúwàbí traits in them. They wanted to use a disciplined Yorùbá man to clip Tinubu's wings for not attaining this presidency seat, but today, Tinubu is hundreds of miles ahead of them. He is called Jagaban for a reason.

@Vandacech @DESYICEE @pious_minister Perhaps if you travel outside Nigeria to places like Johannesburg and Pretoria, you’d see how much damage systemic corruption has done to Lagos. Ikeja the state capital outside Alausa, is a total mess, open gutters, poor waste, no landscaping and terrible optics.
