@TychoBrahe Mike is over on Bluesky 🤷‍♂️ But I get my penny arcade fix more frequently from YouTube shorts than I do from Twitter, so you could really cut Twitter out of the distribution process and still have YouTube, the web page, patreon, blue sky, threads...

@rhartman When I took the kids to see the Minecraft movie in a small local theater, there was an old advertisement for a Disney movie called Elio I'd never heard of that came out in 2024. Then we saw a trailer for Elio before Minecraft that said 2025. So I guess maybe there were issues?

Elio was great. I hadn't heard about this movie until I saw a bunch of articles talking about how it was underperforming. What is Disney doing? Some sort of anti marketing campaign? Planning on free headlines about it doing poorly to get the word out without spending money?

I love when a movie I enjoy gets a prequel, and that prequel gets a prequel, and that prequel gets a prequel series. What the fuck are we doing? Why do I have to keep watching the effect and then the cause? Is linear time going in reverse? Is all IP now Benjamin Button?
