Definitely recommend checking out this non-profit, in addition to classes they also have a whole library of tools people can check out and a woodworking workshop people can use on their own projects.

Cory and I made a cutting board together in a workshop class at the Denver Tool Library. So much fun! The instructor was great, we learned new things, and now we have a cutting board we can treasure for years. (The woods from lightest to darkest are maple, cherry, and walnut!)
