Total MAID Cases: 16,499 (5.1% of all deaths) Track 1 (Terminal): 15,767 (95.6% of cases) Track 2 (Chronic): 732 (4.4% of cases) Mental Illness (Sole): ZERO (0%) Minors/Kids: ZERO (0%) To be clear: Under Bill C-62, it is currently ILLEGAL in Canada to receive MAID for "seasonal depression" or any mental illness as a sole condition. This is good stuff. Humble Poilievre is much more likeable than abrasive Poilievre. There's a story to be told about how he smartened up. Not hard to imagine this guy as pm one day if he keeps this up.

It’s a reach play, not a reset button. Yes, Rogan has a massive global audience. Yes, it gives Poilievre long-form, unfiltered time to talk directly to people. And yes, it might generate a few viral clips. But let’s be real about what this actually does, and what it doesn’t. Poilievre’s problem isn’t exposure. Canadians already know who he is. The issue is persuasion, trust, credibility, and broad appeal. A podcast doesn’t fix that. And here’s the bigger reality check: Joe Rogan is huge online, but in Canada? He’s known, not dominant. His audience skews younger, male, and anti-establishment (like the Gruvenmama) which overlaps heavily with people Poilievre is already reaching… or already winning. That’s the risk: preaching to the converted. Best case? He comes across more human, reaches a few disengaged voters, and gets some traction online. Worst case? It reinforces the exact image that’s limiting his appeal with the voters he actually needs. Either way, one interview doesn’t change leadership trajectories. This isn’t a comeback moment. It’s a strategy shift, away from traditional media and toward direct-to-audience platforms. Will it matter? A little. Will it save his leadership? No. Will most Canadians care? Not really.
