✦ Do you usually research artists before purchasing their work? ✧ @joncates - ‘purchasing’ is only one path && it has narrowed for me. when Art reaches us, wherever we are, or when we encounter the Art, we have an experience with it and/or with the artist. these are the ways the Art becomes important to us. this is how the actual exchange occurs && it is ‘where the Art happens’. enabling circumstances, like time && money, make purchases possible. i have much less of both now so i sometimes simply contact artists && make trades. or, for instance, myFriend @PunksDistorted && i often give each other our artworks as gifts when we mint. that is a beautiful part of our community sharing the Art as a part of the process of caring && creating. ▼PD25_27, by @PunksDistorted.
