@HansMokeNiemann I at least agree you’ve got an unshakeable “American spirit” which I defined as delusion driving perseverance until its realty
But youre early to self-describe as “excellence” anything bc your delusions havent materialized to reality yet and ur ignoring ur role in any “isolation

When the world piled on smear campaigns, coordinated attacks, strategic silence: no one stood with me. Not a single institutional ally.
False narratives spread across major platforms tested my reputation and my career at the highest level.
Others had state machines, endless sponsors, safety nets. I had grit, intellect, and the unshakeable American spirit inside.
I rose anyway.
I am American resilience 🦅 : independent, unbreakable, forged in isolation and still ascending. Intellectual excellence without apology. The will to win on my own terms.
Before the Netflix spotlight shifts the narrative, I will select one premier American company as my long-term partner: securing the necessary resources to become World Champion.
American greatness deserves American enterprise behind it.
This is the moment.
Bids open. ♟️🇺🇸♟️🇺🇸

@S1uice @TheLegalMindset So i’m an attorney in the US, and “We failed, both in allowing it to occur, and in our response following” is something that is by far the clearest admission i’ve ever seen.
Defamation also would not be the claim. It would be framed within tort jurisprudence (i.e. negligence)
English

@PupperJD @TheLegalMindset I realize some countries might have a different standard, but in the U.S. (or most countries), this is just a proactive parry. It's not at all damning on its own.
It would make it hard for Twitch to claim defamation, I guess, but it's not a meaningful admission of wrongdoing.

This is one of the most disgusting and vile things I have ever read, and that's saying a lot as a woman growing up in chess. "Where were all of you when Danya was alive and unwell?". You are the CEO of the governing body of chess and in your first real comments since the passing of one of our greatest talents, coaches, and ambassadors you decide to blame the public when you have absolutely no idea who Danya had been in contact with?
Where the f*ck were you? Certainly not protecting your players from harassment because I'm sure that might have interfered with your protection of FIDE President Dvorkovich, close friends with Kramnik. You both accuse his friends knowing NOTHING about the support he received and remove any responsibility from yourself at the same time. Truly pathetic.
We aren't oversimplifying anything. We know the damage Kramnik did to Danya because he told us in some of his final painful words. Trivializing the world's call for justice against Kramnik's malicious campaign of harassment isn't "virtue signaling", but I'm not at all surprised this would be your take given your morals have been bought out for many years now.
But you are right about one thing. We absolutely didn't do enough while Danya was with us, we were not vocal enough about the failures of FIDE to uphold it's own bylaws, and that's what makes me the most sick. It's a mistake I won't make again. You are clearly unfit to lead FIDE. You are a disgrace to Chess and everything it should stand for. Resign immediately.

In watching the clip below of Danya's last stream and hearing the pain in his voice, how deeply the baseless accusations affected him, I am left so mad at what we all allowed to happen right in front of us.
It's time to stop worrying about the backlash. I am calling on the FIDE EDC to remove Vladimir Kramnik from the FIDE record books, revoke his title, and disqualify his world championship. Chess is one of the most beloved games in the world and should be a place for kindness and inclusion. It should be unilaterally unacceptable to use a platform that Chess has given you to bully, harass, and slander a colleague. What Kramnik has done to David Navara, Hikaru, and Danya, and others can not be tolerated.
It is up to our community and the governing body to set an example that this type of behavior will have consequences. Make it known loud and clear that Chess stands against these hateful acts. If you do them intentionally and maliciously there will be no place for you in our game.
FIDE and it's EDC must establish clear policies moving forward around the safety of it's players both in person and digitally. The events leading up to this tragedy happened in broad daylight over the last 18 months. They could have been stopped. Nothing like this can ever be allowed to happen again.

the humility to sit with your opponent after beating them and seeing their pain has never been seen like this. RIP @GmNaroditsky we’ll all miss you and your love of the game so much 💔
Chessdom@chessdom
RIP Danya 💔
English

Rest in peace, @GmNaroditsky.
The tributes pouring in from the chess community make clear how respected and loved you were.
@VBkramnik your past behavior towards Danya is indefensible. Your response after his passing was worse. Shameful, appalling, and simply ugly.

@BLZE03 @HonorAlair @TorontoHonor @resignzfnt @grok At least in the US, you cannot break a contract without repercussions. You can calculate damages in a variety of ways even without a clause that says what happens in the event of default.
English

@grok I cba but explain to him what a loophole within a contract is that allows you to break it without repercussions and how if the repercussions aren’t mentioned within it, then saying fuck it to the contract makes zero difference.
Especially if you are being paid x amount of dollars to do something, but it doesn’t state that if the contract is broken, and there’s no clause saying the money can be taken back by the company, then legally they can’t do anything about it 99% of the time.
English

Today @TorontoHonor was Scammed By multiple FNCS Winner @resignzfnt
His contract was until after Globals and he has just left without coming to an agreement with us or fulfilling his contract.
