A look at some of the roster decisions the Braves will need to make with Murphy, Strider and Kim set to return over the next few weeks @AdobeOrg&affiliateId=mlbapp-ios_webview_news-index&rsid=mlbios.at.bat.new.implementation" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">mlb.com/news/sean-murp…

@srbrown70 The Athletics certainly do not have any sort of stuff model

Braves need to immediately 1) check if any of the 30 teams either don't have or don't use a stuff model 2) trade Bryce Elder to that team

@ChoppinBravos Do you mean the guy with 3.86 ERA in 31 career starts with 175 SO in 165.1 innings? Most teams would pay good money to get a starter like that. Even Bassitt has been slightly worse than that and is getting paid $22MM this year.

Grant Holmes is a long man he isn’t a starter. He is a guy you need to be able to pull when he doesn’t have it. The Braves rotation not looking so hot the third time through and looking more like what we expected in the offseason. Not adding a starter was a huge mistake from AA better hope Fuentes and Ritchie are ready.

@RhettBollinger @mlbtraderumors So if a pitcher is shutting you down, have one of your players attack the pitcher. More than likely he will defend himself and then get thrown out of the game.

Jorge Soler wasn't happy after Reynaldo Lopez threw one up and in after he was hit by a pitch in his last at-bat. Punches were thrown by both players.

Aaron Judge: 3 HRs in the first 7 games. Yep, already on a 69-HR pace.

As you may have seen in yesterday’s newsletter, my bold prediction is Acuña and Harris will become the fourth teammate duo to go 30-30 in the same season. What is your bold prediction for the Braves’ 2026 season?

@joe03454186 @BNightengale Well, the country is still under a murderous de facto dictator. It’s progress but still a long way from normality.

@BNightengale I don’t think they’re very upset that they are no longer under a murderous dictator… but outside of that, they will help a country heal by getting second place in the WBC

That is a bad strike three call on Juan Soto in the eighth inning. Shouldn’t happen period. Absolutely cannot happen in a game like this.

@mlbbowman Wouldn’t this qualify as a slider? 87 mph is pretty fast for a sweeper and it moves like a slider

Both of Fuentes' strikeouts in the second inning concluded with his sweeper. This was the nastier of the two

@MGonzalez1994 Bingo.

I'm thinking of a former MLB player & there's no fucking way you're going to guess who it is. $50 to the person who gets it. Only one guess per person.

@Rishibets @YaBoiKamui @NobleQAli Probably because the Spanish colonists brought Christianity to the US first. That’s probably why Jesus is called in his Spanish version name in the US and many other places where the Spanish ran missions and colonies

@YaBoiKamui @NobleQAli Joshua=yehoshua, yes, but I've never seen Jesus referred to by that name, only thing I've seen is Yaishu (which is supposedly Jesus)
