It’s been a while @auspost but today, I was home, so very surprised to receive an ‘Attempted delivery’ message, a ‘locked gate’ status for a gate that is never locked (and has a doorbell button 10cm away) and a ‘photo’ which may have been taken inside the driver’s pocket.

#GHRaidersChat I suspect Jed Stuart will be the player who comes in and I can see why… he demonstrated last year that he’s safe and good defensively. I’d be interested to see what Sione Finau could do in firsts, different player, with more speed. Other changes… I think it’s time. @RaiderADD @theSportress I just think there’s something happened behind the scenes that has eroded the connection between the players. The way they’ve been beaten imo can’t be explained by injury, rule changes or “luck” they aren’t playing for each other. They don’t trust each other

@handofyes @theSportress Definitely part of it. I said we havent adapted to it. Its almost the polar opposite of how we played last year , factor in some players form hasn't reached last year's level .

@RaiderADD @theSportress It’s a rhetorical question. Though it’s worth thinking about. Was Manly performances any worse than ours have been? Is the dragons any better? Why are their coaches being questioned, and ours not. Particularly since the massive drop off since last year.

@handofyes @theSportress Why would have? We have just come off our most successful season. I think it's more to do with PVL ball, we have not adjusted to it. Our style last year was to dominate the middle, PVL ball is about playing edge to edge

For mine, you could argue as easily that Dominic Young put his arm out in front of Tamale and held him back. A sin bin was harsh, I thought. Then there was the penalty against Weekes because Dominic Young ran into him. Some tough calls, in my view anyway. Time to write a match review! - GE
