Here's a question. Maybe for a slightly older crowd, but anyone can answer. Will you take your social security pension at 62 or 67? Or what age did you? I'm taking it at 62.

My daughters 2nd grade teacher quit four weeks into the school year. My sons 4th grade teacher quit the day before thanksgiving. In my home we lost both kids teachers. If u show up every day w some type of positive energy u are doing enough this year. Remember that. #thatonekid

@marikapc @miadegraaf I worked in research for the school system and presented the research that supported changing times. No go because of bus schedules.

@miadegraaf School times make no sense compared to the natural sleep/energy cycles of the children involved. Youngest kids are awake at dawn but they start late. Oldest kids need the most sleep and start the earliest. We should shape start times around children's needs, not adults'.

TIL high schools kids in the US are expected to get to class before 8am which...... sounds like a sick joke at the expense of literally everyone involved

One day no parent will have to know the pain of burying their child from preventable gun violence. No parent, sibling or best friend will know the feeling of watching a kids bedroom become a memorial. Or watching their pets outlive their best friend. We will end gun violence.

Americans are tired of changing their clocks twice a year. When winter comes, nobody wants to be sitting in the dark. Let’s make Daylight Savings Time permanent and free ourselves from this outdated ritual.
