My current view of the bond markets and why I think now is actually a good time to buy some long duration bond protection with $TLT $ZFL.TO 👇 It’s looking like a classic bear flattening driven by short-term inflation panic while the long end starts pricing in the eventual recession + stimulus response. It’s bad news is good news for long bonds later. The market is leaning into that recession + eventual money-printing/refinance cycle. Add in flight to safety trades & chaos insurance like $BTC & I think you’ll be in a decent position. Also time to trim some high risk stock winners if you haven’t already, nothing good lasts forever.

Rates need to be lowered, the debt needs to be refinanced or else it doesn’t matter what happens with the oil shock, the country will self implode. You can’t keep the illusion going unless you reduce rates & print more money. Buy $BTC and chill.

The US Treasury debt jumped by another $1 trillion in five months, and by $2 trillion in 7.5 months to $39 trillion now.
