@RealJasonNelson well you have the "failing" part down pat, I'll give you that.

What makes me a Christian is not how kind, forgiving, tolerant, or loving I am- as God has commanded of me. What makes me a Christian is knowing I am incapable of sustaining God’s commands, thus needing Christ’s redemption to cover for my failures- my “sins”. The most publicly Christian thing I can do is fail at being Christian, seek forgiveness, change, and drive on.

@RealJasonNelson That’s where we’ll agree to disagree. I don’t mock or belittle Christian beliefs as you are entitled to them and Christianity DOES have a great many virtues. I only get irritable when I run up against the “you have to believe as I do or you’re going to hell” type of folks.
