@Jaio141 @tactmedic52 It's obvious it was Activision's decision since they we're bound to take advantage of Warzone's success to transition the series into a live service model to make money. I can't blame the writers for leaving though, they put good work into MW.

That's why after season 6, the Intel that showed Ghost writing "Who the f*ck is Perseus" + zombies ship and the subsequent nuke of verdansk, Taylor Kurosaki Left. I believe the shared universe was an Activision thing, stretching Devs original vision.

People probably don't know this but SAS Captain Gladney (or Gladstone) from Black Ops 6 is likely to be UK Team Leader from MW2019, MWII and MWIII. He even has the MW2019 SAS logo to back it up on his beret.

@tactmedic52 I'm ngl I don't care too much about the shared universe, there is hardly anything worth investing in keeping up with for me if all we get are tiny easter eggs and crossovers outside of the main campaigns. I've only been interested in MW these past few years.

@RealKynix Yes, they put Perseus flags into Raids of MWII & in the bunker section of the mission Payload. Raven Software is the one who makes the Treyarch campaigns now keep in mind, so since they're fans of Modern Warfare its likely they're the root cause as to why Zakhaev & Gladney exist.
