@Ally_Sammarco For sure those seniors and disabled have to be stopped. When 2032 comes along and their tiny @SocialSecurity is reduced a further 24% (while inflation happily continues) a good portion of them will finally get pushed off the planet for good.
Good riddance!

@ImMeme0 Probably part of the reason for the verdict was his guilt.

This video is lengthy, but it’s worth watching.
The lead attorney had already PREDICTED the outcome of Karmelo Anthony’s trial LAST YEAR. He places much of the blame on Karmelo’s mother, arguing that she effectively sentenced her son to decades in prison by allowing Dominique Alexander, a convicted felon and activist, to serve as the official spokesperson for the teenager and his family.
“Let me explain how Karmelo’s mother basically sentenced her own son, Karmelo, to an extra 10 to 30 years in prison.
Karmelo’s mother apparently hired a family spokesperson, one Dominique Alexander. This Dominique calls himself a “minister of justice,” whatever that is.
Dominique is a convicted felon. He’s alleged to have beaten his girlfriend. Then he got a new girlfriend, and when that girlfriend left the apartment, the good minister grabbed the woman’s two-year-old baby and shook him until the child suffered brain damage. The good minister pleaded guilty in that case to felony charges and was sent to prison.
Now, this is the man Karmelo’s mom chose to speak on Karmelo’s and the family’s behalf: the good baby-shaking minister.
The minister did exactly what you would expect a convicted felon to do when handling Karmelo’s case. He absolutely destroyed it.”

@Kekius_Maximus Fund Hope Now Project to reduce global poverty, overpopulation, and biospheric damage…as it eases humanity out of GDP economics death grip into life-giving eco-bounded economics.

@terryschappert They all mostly take and they all seek $$$ to buy power to buy self-importance. They all are high in narcissistic energy & unwilling to have prosperity limited to productivity of own hands.
Their “giving” of $Ms while taking $Bs is to keep torches & pitchforks away.
English

There are kind rich people, shitty rich people, and rich people in between. Some give back to society, some mostly take, and others do both.
The reason politicians are so pissed off about Musk's wealth is that their grift off of taxpayers is only making them multi-millionaires. They think they deserve more for their efforts.
I mean, what WOULD we do without their leadership?

Jimmy Carr nailed something a lot of us feel but can’t explain.
We’re living better than 99.9% of humans who ever walked the earth, hot showers, modern medicine, endless entertainment, kids that actually survive infancy, yet so many of us feel miserable.
He calls it “life dysmorphia.” We get used to how good we have it (the hedonic treadmill), then compare ourselves to everyone else and tank our own happiness.
As he puts it: happiness = quality of life minus envy.
Marcus Aurelius put it perfectly: “Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself in your way of thinking.”
When was the last time you caught yourself feeling unhappy despite objectively having it pretty damn good?

@benwehrman The balls on this guy. Did you know in the ~15 to 45 demographic that black women commit more murders than white men?
My sources are telling me this is good way to verify that statistic. 🤣
English

@zackvoell Am not sure of that. The bottom 1% maybe is violent and kills a few people. The top 1% non-violently kills millions and the biosphere from behind their desks.
English

You think Social Security sucks now? In 2032 expect 24% of your benefits to go away.

@ChoochSkookum The best is small acreage to maintain but surrounded by large acreage so your neighbors are far away.

@BoredElonMusk Quick question. Which you prefer?
1. Feed off others’ lives in wealth funnels off their labor. Prey on people & biosphere in pursuit of $ & self-importance. Not happy. Hopeless.
2. Your prosperity based on productivity of own hands. Simple & small life. Friend to all. Happy.
English

@mistressdivy He diminishes the biosphere ever faster and encourages millions even billions to do the same faster and harder than before, to support his Ponzi GDP.
I live in the biosphere and love it. Those I love also live in it.
As such, I consider him a Bond villain.

I really don’t understand true greed. If I was worth $1 trillion, you’d have to physically stop me from solving as many of the world’s problems as possible.
Everyone would have access to cheap spaceflight, satellite coms, solar energy, electric cars, AI.
I just don’t get it.

@farzyness Cool idea but would need totally reengineered for the environment, anyway.
Better approach would be to upgrade Mars rover tech with 10x power capacity.
