🔗 rebuildgp.co.uk/the-fight-agai… 📝 So much of my GP working day is filled with unnecessary paperwork, bureaucracy and time away from clinical work 🙇‍♂️ It takes times away from GPs seeing patients - frustrating patients - exhausting GPs

Examples from today across Cambs… Local trust reports 10wk delay in typing letters. (Yes it’s 2026). Pt delayed between depts. Luckily GP already ref pt in Oct, so pt seen the day after the Trust’s own letter TO ITSELF was sent.

You can’t fix GP access while loading more admin onto GPs. Take bureaucracy off our desks, put patients first. What’s happened to the Govt’s Red Tape Challenge? Patients are frustrated - GPs are exhausted The issue is bureaucracy stealing time from care. This has to change.
