I view the Final Fantasy VII Remake the same way I view Dark Souls II: they’re really good games that also deserve the criticism they’ve received. Two things can be true at once.

@SweetheartAlyy X-2 was released before the Internet became ubiquitous in homes, so the game was actually pretty well-received before the Internet got its dirty hands on it. X-2 has always been a bright, light-hearted romp that I appreciate after the death-march that was FFX.

@JenosonTwit Everyone told me they hated it, but I just quietly enjoyed every second of X-2 without embarrassment.

X-2 gets a bad rap but honestly its a bubbly musical adventure that's full of magical girl vibes and romantic af. A time capsule of the 2000s, a reminder that FF can be silly and unapologetically fun. It's very sincere with its campiness and invites you to just sing and dance.

@Xbox_Nostalgia I know Enter The Matrix gets a lot of hate, but all I remember is really enjoying it.

i just never see anybody talk about 12? or if i do, they're always hung up on not liking vaan. but god the world is beautiful and the dialogue in all the cutscenes feels so poetic n pretty to me??!!? idk i love it
