@CoachJonBeck The depth&scope of goal success 2 an athlete defines committing 2 workouts. Summer heat,peer pressure&progress can input efforts. Before my prep soph yr I committed 2skill&physical upgrade. It resulted in epic wins via higher team play&discipline as a game changer role ensued.

Off season intentions & actions say a lot about you. Missing workouts with no communication, being late & always making excuses eliminates a lot of players from leadership roles. Leaders show up & do hard things; they hold themselves & others accountable and they lead by example!

@CoachJonBeck Hard work was instilled by my grandfather. Along with perseverance &discipline they were key values in prep athletic success. I transposed them with similar success to college,grad school&career. Goals are worthwhile ventures in life. A successful outcome is worth hard work!

Players: Just because you work hard doesn't mean that you will be successful. It doesn't mean you'll play more or be a starter either, but HARD WORK is the foundation for ANY kind of success, ON & OFF the court. In the game & in life, without the hard work, you have NO CHANCE!
