You’ll never see a high-major team schedule a competent mid-major at the mid-major’s place.
Until that becomes common place, don’t tell me about how the A10, MAC, American, MWC, SoCon, etc. are incredibly inferior…

High Point went 30-4, hasn't lost since mid-January - and wouldn't have sniffed an at large bid
Miami (OH) went undefeated in the regular season, finished 31-1 and ended up in Dayton
We REALLY need to re-evaluate how we go about selecting at-large teams for the NCAA Tournament

Not to mention, these mid-majors were given a drastic disadvantage based on seeding.

@RobDFB If the committee wanted they could easily rectify the situation. Make it mandatory for all P5 programs to play at least 1 true road game at a non-power school to be eligible for the tournament. Would never happen though cause the committee exists to prop up the power teams.

These mid-majors are not properly gauged over the course of season as it pertains to their capability against high-major competition

This is so true. We’ve seen over the years flagship schools refusing to play guys in their own state in Home and Aways because they’re afraid of losing
