@tennissippi_8 @SethDavisHoops @LSU LSU athletics is 100% privately funded. Zero state funds. The athletics department actually donates money to the school. They donated $36M when LSU hit financial troubles a few years ago.

While undoubtedly a step up over whatever LSU has tried to do over the last 4 years, I'm curious what the ceiling winds up being here. Wade's squads topped out at #19 in KenPom in 2019, 4th in the SEC. That only gets you to 6th-8th best in the SEC over the last two years.

This shows you what kind of personality and coach Will Wade is. Tari Eason and his family are not from Louisiana and only had Wade as their coach for 5 months. Yet Mamma Eason still fucks with Wade heavy. Purple and Golden forever, and happy to have Wade back.
