@LouStagner How would you be able to enforce what’s in a divot vs what’s not? What about a healed divot? What if it’s just sitting down a little in a grass imperfection? Would you have to confirm with your playing competitors before taking relief?

@LouStagner It’s not enforceable IMO. You’ll have everyone saying their ball is in a divot of some kind (partially healed, etc.). It would then being like playing lift-clean-place permanently. I’m good with playing it down.

Golf rules have been changing for as long as the game has been played. It's time to change the rule on fairway divots. Roast away. 😃

@LoveUSA521 @acaseofthegolf1 I see where you are coming from, but you are implying that the players’ resumes are scrapped and the Combine is everything, which isn’t the case. A lot of the top projected draft picks don’t even do much at the Combine since their position is secure (a result of their success)

@SBehrJr @acaseofthegolf1 How many climb their way up a draft due to an NFL combine performance?This is Q school. College BAseball is almost irrelevant due to minors where players develop and earn their spot.This is a terribly flawed approach and limits access to the majority golfers

Yes the 5 KFT members who will get bumped out of the field next week to make room for 5 seniors who just "earned" status via PGA Tour U could have played better and wouldn't be in the position. But it still stinks IMO. Golf has always been earning your way for the most part.

In golf prior to PGA Tour U, this was not happening. The slate was wiped clean after a player graduated college, even if they were 1st team AA

@SBehrJr @acaseofthegolf1 Wait? Don’t they have drafts and combines? They don’t automatically make it. BB is. Terrible example, most don’t go all four years and many straight to minors after high school.

Five years ago Clemson won the ACC Tournament by 11 shots over second place Wake Forest. All five Clemson golfers finished ahead of Will Zalatoris. Guess he has really improved since then Lol. Congrats Will.
