too much in fighting in the gaming community brand loyalty and bragging rights are getting in the way of the reality that this industry is in trouble: 1. hardware costs too much 2. game development takes too long and costs too much 3. the game themselves cost too much we're seeing studios close and employees being laid off at record numbers as all of these companies are scrambling to find a business model that works GTA 6 isn't wearing a cape with a big S on it that will magically fix everything it's gonna get uglier before it gets better and that's the truth

Industry isn't failing; it’s being ruined by forced DEI and woke initiatives. Unqualified people are getting key roles they can't handle or basically stupid. Support Marathon 😆 Game is dogshit. UI deformed. Music absolutely ruined with coo coo, haa haa on loop. For an extraction shooter, 60Hz on consoles 👀 Runner shells horrible. Entire cosmetics in Battle Pass and store all horrible. That's how clueless devs are at Bungie. Can't wait for SONY to either get rid of people at Bungie or completely dissolve Bungie.

Half the community is going to hate me for saying this, but the only way to keep Bungie alive right now is to support Marathon. People keep comparing Marathon numbers to Destiny and frankly, that's ignorant. Marathon was never designed to do Bungie numbers. The conversations about that were very upfront early. It's more aligned with Tarkov than Destiny. Completely different target markets that just so happen to have a wide intersection with Destiny target markets since it uniquely has so many.

@JezCorden It's dogshit. No light theme yet Game Bar has. Achievements not separated. Achievements in square blocks instead of rectangular. Doesn't display download remaining time. Certain updates re-downloads entire game. UI is crippled. Game save sync problems.

The Xbox PC app still has a ton of responsiveness issues. On Xbox Ally when it wakes from sleep / closes a game, sometimes takes several minutes to start becoming responsive again. On Xbox PC, sometimes when closing a game, it just decides that it's no longer going to detect inputs anymore. I'm not sure if there's something fundamentally flawed with the codebase or something but you never get these kinda issues on Steam. Steam is the bar Xbox PC needs to hit. I'm someone who does a ton of gaming on Xbox PC but it's impossible to recommend when Steam is literally sitting right there.
