We are delighted to announce that @moses_brian is the Phoenix Academy Patron of Reading for this academic year. A widely published and popular local poet, Brian will be regularly sending out newsletters and speaking to our children to promote a love of reading. @thesteptrust

It has been a hugely successful start to the academic year and our children have settled right back into the swing of things. Our further research-based refinements to the wider curriculum continue to ensure that more of this knowledge than ever is embedded. @thesteptrust

To celebrate the excellent outcomes and incredible progress that our year 6 children achieved this year, we enjoyed a year 6 sleepover in the academy. Not much sleep was had but the children will certainly remember it! A massive well done year 6. We are proud (and tired).

We are pleased to announce that Phoenix Academy are hosting an SEND information fair on Wednesday 12th July where local providers will be coming along to show how they support children with SEND. @thesteptrust

The East Sussex mental health support team at our academy, sharing useful advice on the best ways to support children's (and family members) mental health at home. A huge thanks to this service for their ongoing support.
