Alert Ready is Canada’s emergency alerting system, designed to deliver critical and potentially life-saving alerts to Canadians. Alerts may be issued for a range of urgent situations.

A routine test of the Alert Ready system will take place today, Wednesday May 7, in Ontario at 12:55 pm EDT. The test message will be broadcast on television, radio, and compatible wireless devices.
