I was fired from Anthropic today. I was the engineer responsible for shipping the latest dev/claude-code npm package. Wanting to improve the debugging experience for the team, I decided to include source maps in the release. This resulted in our entire internal codebase being publicly exposed including thousands of files with every agent command, all system prompts, the complete query engine, Undercover Mode, Bypass Permissions Mode, and our internal telemetry configuration. I take full responsibility. I genuinely believed the safeguards Claude Code had built for me would be adequate and it was a serious miscalculation on my part. My actions have unintentionally open-sourced major parts of Claude’s architecture well ahead of schedule. I apologize to the team and to Claude.

Before I go on and say things that might make you want to warn her employer about her racism and bigotry, please understand I don’t actually know this woman. One thing I don’t like is hypocrisy. Another is racism. Feel whatever feeling you want on the internet and say whatever your audience lets you get away with but DON’T act like democrats are a superior moral authority and call people slurs. In a discussion about religious persecution her stance is Christians should not speak up or be allowed to refuse things that violate their beliefs. When pressed she attacked another black basketball player and called him a “coon” and a “trick boy” (not widely used and notable because it’s uncommon) That isn’t accidental wording, it’s intentional. She has in this highlighted conversation targeted a black man, called him a slur, and made comment on his physical appearance and perceived sexual preferences, using abusive language to make him feel less than. (It didn’t work but she said them unprompted without being tagged in the post- she was there to invalidate a black man and put him in his place) I hope she remembers that she started this, and that “Freedom of speech does not come without freedom of consequences” was her premise. Intention matters. Happy hunting

Alliyah says that on January 12, she dropped her young daughter, who has special needs, off at Hutto Elementary School. Her child showed no signs of injury and was doing fine when she was left at school. A few hours later, Alliyah says she received a call saying her daughter had fallen from a chair about one and a half to two feet high, hit her head, and had been unconscious for roughly 40 minutes. What happened next, Alliyah says, is almost impossible to understand. She says her daughter was moved before her spine was properly stabilized, and no school staff member went with her in the ambulance. After arriving at the hospital, her daughter needed emergency spinal surgery. Alliyah says her child also suffered a brain bleed and a stroke. Today, her daughter remains in critical condition. She is on a breathing tube, and her lungs are failing after developing pneumonia. Alliyah says the infection was caused by bacteria acquired in the hospital following surgery. This little girl is still fighting for her life. Alliyah is asking for prayers and guidance, unsure of what to do next and fearing the worst. Whether this was a tragic accident or something more, let’s stand with this mother and help keep her strong for her daughter.
