@drkeithsiau "Blood thinner" is quite the misnomer. Very pervasive but not a good description of their mechanism of action. The word we should be using is antithrombotics. This covers antiplatelets and anticoagulants.

Restarting blood thinners for a patient with GI bleeding, or any bleeding for that matter, is possibly the best thing you can do for that patient, as long as the bleeding has stopped.
