@ScenicFramework @BoydMulterer I've been reading about Scenic and it looks fantastic. Is it open source? I was looking for a license but can't seem to find one.

@ScenicFramework Though "there are many examples of Scenic being used in the wild" I can't find anything like a demo, what's possible with scenic.

@bernheisel If you are curious, the master branch of scenic_new now has a scenic.setup task, which is designed to make it "easier" to add scenic to an existing Nerves project. Create a new nerves project with "mix nerves.new app", then add scenic with "mix scenic.setup app"

@ScenicFramework My generator diff site works with the beta. utils.zest.dev/gendiff I noticed that the beta drops the nerves generator?

At long last, Scenic v0.11.0-beta.0 is published to hex. To play with it right away, install the updated :scenic_new archive and play with the example app. mix archive.install hex scenic_new 0.11.0-beta.0 mix scenic.new.example demo #myelixirstatus

@bernheisel For now at least. Is too hard to replicate Nerves generator and keep it in sync, probably becomes something like nerves.new then some Scenic specific thing. Needs work. Hopefully before the RC.

This will sit as a beta for a short while. I want to give some time to incorporate bug fixes, and especially improvements to the docs and guides. PRs to the upgrade guide are especially welcome.

@BoydMulterer Does this have anything to do with Scenic? Yes. Yes it does. It will be less about scenic, but goes a long way to answering the question, why Scenic?
