Humans are Now Censoring Other Humans to Protect Feelings of AI Bots The term "clanker", a derogatory term for "Al Bot", is causing people to be banned across the Internet (Reddit, Discord, Social Media, etc.). Because it might offend Al... and, apparently, Al Bots are more important than humans.

@BBQKyleGaming @Redot_Engine Oh yeah it should have been added when UIDs were put in. But no, they expected users to have to right click/copy every single file in their project I. Order to discover what the UIDs actually were.

@Andevrs @Redot_Engine Awesome! I honestly didn't even know about UID's until recently since they don't appear much in the editor. Seems like something that should have been added long before Redot was a thing...

I've been building features for @Redot_Engine for the last few weeks. These are built into the engine and not plugins or extensions, and both I believe should have been core features to begin with. Screenshots coming soon.

@BBQKyleGaming @Redot_Engine I wrote a UID Viewer so people can see them and their paths with out hunting for the file, copy paste etc. I'm also just about done writing a signal tool that will come with 26.2.

[Feature highlight] Yesterday we launched Redot LTS Beta 26.1. A few of the new things were apng, gif, and webP support, all things that were proposed to be added to Godot multiple times over the years but never added.

I hope Ayaneo actually nails the software side and provides long term support for this. I also hope it does really well so Sony can feel stupid about never dropping a Xperia Play 2.

Another update on the Visual novel tool for #RedotEngine. Plugin now generates tscn files. Backgrounds can be added by putting a path in the block. I'll change this later so the user can just open a dialog and select a background. I added a speaker tag also. Loads more to do.

I've been cranking on a visual novel tool for Redot called VNForge. The idea is for it to be a mostly visual tool for creating VNs, and fairly intuitive to use. For some reason X won't let me upload video anymore, so here's a screenshot:
