If someone you love invites you to a wedding... but the relationship itself is sinful... does showing up mean you're approving sin? A lot of Christians won't like the answer to this. Full video in comments.

@DefinitelyASpud @TheTrueVanguard Do you hear yourself? The vast majority of Christians had one choice: Trump or Harris. That was it. To pretend like an individual Christian selects who goes on the ballot is so unserious.

@ScriptureSays__ @TheTrueVanguard This is a proud declaration of you lack of moral principles. Trump was not thrust upon the nation. He was elected after winning a primary. You had plenty of choice within your party and chose the least moral, least Christian option, and now seek to hide from that choice.

Been backing away from talking politics lately. But where they intersect with faith is where I have strong feelings especially. Listen, no human who respects God would ever post this picture of themselves as Lord. It’s that simple. The way of Trump and the way of Jesus are incompatible, incongruent, mutually exclusive. And I think people of faith, if you really wrestle with it, know this. Maybe you like his style, his administration, whatever. But you have to know that his way and Jesus’ aren’t remotely close to each other. Trump posts about raising hell (just a week ago) while Jesus spent His ministry bringing the kingdom of Heaven down. Summation, this stuff is horribly offensive to the way of Christ and those who follow it.

Brother, I agree the image is cringe and Christians should not treat any politician like a messianic figure. No defense from me there. But you’re making a category error when you move from “this image is wrong” to “therefore Christians who voted for Trump are functionally blasphemous.” Voting is not canonization. It is often a prudential judgment between flawed options in a fallen world. Scripture shows God using deeply flawed and even pagan rulers for His purposes (Isa. 45:1; Jer. 27:6). That does not make them godly. It means the political question is not “Which candidate is most like Jesus?” but often “Which set of policies better restrains evil and preserves good?” (Rom. 13:3–4). You mention immigration, the poor, and stewardship of creation. Those are real moral concerns, and Christians should care about them. But Scripture also speaks to other moral concerns that many believers see as central and non-negotiable: •the protection of innocent human life (Ps. 139:13–16; Prov. 24:11–12), •the goodness of male and female as created by God (Gen. 1:27), •the definition of marriage (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:4–6), •justice that does not call evil good (Isa. 5:20), •the duty of rulers to restrain evil rather than normalize it (Rom. 13:3–4). Not to mention, there is a distinction between the call to the *Christian* and the *Government*. Especially a theocracy (then) compared to something more like Babylon (America). Christians can reject political idolatry, condemn that image, and still believe some Democratic policies are morally worse. That is not worship. That is prudential judgment. Let’s rebuke idolatry without falsely accusing every political disagreement of blasphemy.

Scripture says to protect and defend the stranger in your land. He rounded them up like cattle, sent them to facilities his rich buddies own, many of them were sexually assaulted or tortured in those facilities. Scripture says that God created the earth and instructed Adam and Eve to take care of it. Trump's admin cut funding for national forests as well as handed over protected land to wealthy companies looking to develop. Scripture says to feed the hungry. Trump's admin made significant cuts to programs that help low income families eat. His admin cut funding to foreign aid, leaving thousands without life-saving and preserving medicine that was formerly provided by the US. Genuinely and honestly miss me with this take, brother. Stop talking about the "incalculable damage" that you THINK a democrat would have done and start holding the guy accountable for the human lives that he's cost and the damage he's done. Your "scripture says" handle is performative at best, textbook blasphemy at worst.

@DW2025X You just disagree with the plain reading of Scripture. That's a choice. Not a reasonable argument. Wish you the best man.

1. He *does* desire to save everyone. 2. Power doesn’t equal forcing a free will agent to do something. That’s coercion. 3. Both are true. And yet, some people still choose to reject his Lordship. This isn’t very complicated but men having been trying to perform mental gymnastics for centuries to avoid submitting to the King of Kings.
Benjamin Blake Speed Watkins 🇺🇸🇺🇦🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️@SpeedWatkins

If God is perfectly good, He would desire to save everyone. If He is all-powerful, He would be able to do so. If both are true, everyone would be saved. Since not everyone is saved, either God lacks power, lacks goodness, or does not exist. Choose wisely.

@DW2025X That's not a verse or quote to my knowledge. The Scripture is clear that it *is* His desire for all to be saved. The second he made free willed creatures, he allowed his desire to not take place. It's my hope that you would come to know the God who made you.

@ScriptureSays__ You are correct His indifference stems directly from His glory in this way: The damned allow Him to vent His wrath The "saved" speak to His "mercy" Therefore, He has ZERO desire for "all to be saved" as the narrative makes abundantly clear Happy it works for you, though

@DW2025X Being indifferent and being glorified aren’t the same thing. How is he “indifferent” if it’s “His desire that all be saved”? If you reject Christ, I do believe, one day, you will acknowledge the true statement that He is King, but that doesn’t mean you will bow to Him.

God is almost certainly indifferent as to the outcome since He is glorified whether people are "saved" or damned Philippians 2:11 confirms people like me WILL be forced to acknowledge Jesus before being sent to Hell Both your claims are merely assertions which many people reject No mental gymnastics necessary

What rule change do you want to see in the NFL? 1) Instead of onside kicks. 4th and 10 from your own 20 yard line after a score to keep the ball. 2) 4 points for 60+ yard field goals 3) 3 point conversion after TD from the 10 yard line 4) college style OT 5) other

Jaden Ivey has to understand freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequence. Also, you serve God. You’re not God. As the son of a pastor this topic means a lot to me and I’m praying for Jaden Ivey’s mental health. My full thoughts:
