Free will exists for His benefit, not ours since the glory He desires is meaningless without it By creating the Earth specifically for Jesus to "save" it, the devil is a manufactured villain, Eden is an engineered failure and God gets the glory whether we are "saved" (mercy) or destroyed (wrath) I mean no disrespect in saying this, just my opinion

@hookskat A huge component of Christianity is the amount of effort it takes to avoid admitting that it doesn't work. So you read the same words again in a slightly different way and tell yourself that's why God didn't hear you scream.

The Christian life is in constant need of renewal, revival, restoration, rededication, and rekindling. At what point does it start working?
