God told the Israelites to kill a lamb and paint its blood on their doorposts so they would be spared.
Was it enough to merely trust the promise, or did they also have to obey what God commanded?
Did they obey because they were already safe, or did they obey in order to receive the salvation God promised?
Scripture never pits faith against obedience. Faith and works go hand in hand. A faith that refuses to obey is not biblical faith.
