@Om_Codes_ I think of HR as essentially a kind of cheaper lawyer the company keeps on hand. A quiet counsel for managers to ensure the org is protected in all communications with employees. Yes hiring and firing, but also the corrective action process and accommodations.

I still don’t understand what job HR does after hiring. I usually see them talking, playing, and having fun with people.

@Sargon_of_Akkad The body dysmorphia doesn’t end unfortunately. You just have to trust the process. Help’s if your wife can give you honest assessments.

I started going to the gym regularly about 8-9 months ago, and I can see the progress. It doesn't take that long, you just have to stick at it.
