TN Politicians won't allow oil exploration on land. Won't allow oil exploration on sea. But will be the first to blame the centre if there's petrol price increase or shortage. Also they don't use cycles or EVs. All travel in big V6 land cruisers. Hypocrites!! 😒

@SmitaSup If you are really concerned about Airport let's wait.Minister Arunraj has mentioned already they have 2,3 places in mind within chennai. Let's hope for the best they build airport in some other place. Parandur has many water bodies & agri land. Personally it's too much distance😭

Clearly, annamalai will not toe the BJP line or values, as there's no captive audience or vote base for that in TN now. He'll position him right of ADMK and usurp that space while TVK will do the same with DMK. DMKs so called fortress will eventually crumble to TVKs deep pockets!

Poor crowd management, poor treatment of staff, insufficient upkeep all this may actually dissuade people from visiting. We can only pray to Him to find a respite 🙏🏼

Devotees go to Sringeri Saradha Peetam,Kanchi Kamkoti Peetam,TTD Dewaswom,Guruvayur Dewaswom and Sabarimalai Dewaswom and pour money,give cheques for 40L,50L, give cash,kind,jewels..what not.. It is fine. You continue to make those matams richer and richer. But look at this too. In Thanjavur,Kumbakonam side,many temples in micro interior villages don't get oil to light lamps. No salary. They say they are doing the service without getting anything. e.g., Keezha Sooriya moolai temple. The Kurukkal is coming from Tiruloki for morning poojai. No rice from the temple property to prepare Neivedhyam. The priests are Not able to afford a minimum living. Plenty of Temple priests,Temples are not receiving adequate support from anyone. It has been ages since they received monetary support. No medical attention for their wives,children. Living in pathetic condition. Who will take care of them,those temples?

@UpdatesChennai I’m looking at tickets to fly in Chennai. Other than a handful of middle eastern airlines there’s hardly any international airlines flying direct. Worse, tickets to BLR on Emirates or BA are cheaper than to Chennai! Why is Chennai so neglected:(

Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra,Telangana,Karnataka,Delhi, and even communist dominated Kerala have built greenfield airports or privatised existing ones for better efficiency. But India's 2nd largest economy of TN hasn't. Tamil Nadu needs a capitalist driven party!
