@ThatNgonGuy hot take: if you're baking and rendering in toolbag and that's your final end goal (for a portfolio asset or whatever) you don't need to triangulate the low poly for your bakes

@Daretti_IRL @MarathonTheGame @wacom its a windows setting that can override the wacom drivers sometimes, it causes massive issues in 3d programs so it could cause issues in marathon too i would guess. i would turn it off and see if it works. if not you can try opentabletdriver, it has a lot of mods for games

❗️HELP PLEASE ❗️ @MarathonTheGame can anyone help a quadriplegic out? My @wacom stylus works for menus but doesn't work for 'looking' when in game. Anyway we can get this enabled pretty please? Really wanted to play this game with my stylus setup and not just controller.

It's very strange to watch the slow shift in attitudes toward Unreal and Unity. A decade ago, Unity was synonymous with bad asset flips and indie horror. Now it's almost completely switched. Unreal is seemingly the new pariah among gamers.

Working on this stuff every day makes me a bit blind to it, but comparing my game now to old pics makes the leap in visual fidelity very obvious. Part of it is an intentional shift in art direction, but also I just got more comfortable modeling/texturing stuff.
