It gets like that when you are coming off the streets into your own place. Your sense of organization is not there. It happened to me when I was coming from the streets.

Interesting exchange here between Tyler Cowen and Gregory Clark. A lot of people conflate poverty and squalor, but they are distinct. Subsidies and benefits can mitigate poverty but fuel squalor. Redistribution can alleviate material deprivation, but does nothing to instill the habits and norms that sustain order, discipline, and upward mobility. A society that prioritizes transfers over cultural expectations entrenches dysfunction rather than alleviating it. Squalor—whether in the form of disorder, decay, or social disintegration—is not merely an economic issue.

Ladies im not a MD but I am a biologist and your vagina is acidic (pH about 3.8) to kill yeast and bacteria. Soap has a pH well above 7, which means if you clean your *vagina* with soap you are making a UTI and yeast amusement park down there!

I wish napping pods were more of a thing in this country. I don't want to rent a room for a day, just a pod for an hour.
