@TonyLaneNV It’s a long sentence for sure. Crime and sentencing done but the last stage is where the problem continues. Prison should be focused on rehabilitation not punishment. The punishment is the restriction of liberty - while we have these folks we should make them better

"If Ken Paxton is the nominee, I think all of that is at risk, and not just the Senate race, but these down-ballot races, as well," he said. "I don't know why we would want to take that risk." Cornyn, who is running for reelection for his fifth term, faces a competitive GOP primary on Tuesday night against Paxton and Houston Congressman Wesley Hunt, who are vying to unseat the longtime incumbent.
