My bold prediction is one day, Splash Mountain will return to Magic Kingdom. It will start with slowly dropping merch, maybe introducing characters again in the parks or parades. They will see the demand, popularity and $$$. Then when the ride needs to go through a lengthy refurbishment, they’ll make the D23 announcement, crowd will go wild, convert back to Splash Mountain and watch the $$$ ROI come rolling in.

Quick update on the MD / GEN version of Earthion. The final ROM is done, and we’re currently in verification. If everything passes, we move on to production. Due to the current global situation affecting parts supply and shipping, timing could still be impacted, but we’re moving forward step by step. Baseball season is here, and that means it’s time for my annual predictions. Here’s how I see the 2026 MLB season playing out. In the American League East, I have the New York Yankees finishing first, followed by the Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Toronto Blue Jays, and Tampa Bay Rays. In the National League East, I’m predicting the New York Mets to win the division, with the Philadelphia Phillies finishing second. The Miami Marlins, Atlanta Braves, and Washington Nationals follow. In the American League Central, I have the Detroit Tigers on top, followed by the Kansas City Royals, Cleveland Guardians, Chicago White Sox, and Minnesota Twins. In the National League Central, I’m picking the Chicago Cubs to win the division, with the Cincinnati Reds finishing second and earning a wild card spot. The Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and St. Louis Cardinals round out the standings in the division. In the American League West, I have the Seattle Mariners finishing first, followed by the Texas Rangers, the Las Vegas-bound Athletics, Houston Astros, and Los Angeles Angels. In the National League West, I’m going with the Los Angeles Dodgers, followed by the San Diego Padres, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants, and Colorado Rockies. For the postseason, I’m predicting the Mariners to win the American League pennant and the Reds to win the National League pennant. My World Series pick: Reds over Mariners in six games for Cincinnati’s first championship in 36 years. Play ball.
