I think "Freedom Fuel" is a great idea. Cheaper gas due to a mysterious benefactor at $3.47? Hell yeah! But why stop there? I think we should have "Freedom Bakeries" too! People can line up for bread and we can pay for it with our government's return on investment on all the Intel shares we purchased with tax-payer money. I've shit on @Adobe @Photoshop for being catastrophically bad, but they've actually added a really cool feature if you want to shut down your PC immediately without saving any of your work and possibly damaging your hard drive: just install v27.8 and hit "remove background" and your system will have such a violent fault that it won't even blue-screen. Great job guys!

This is how I did the intro for Game Sack starting in 2024. I used my iPad Mini to mirror my Mac's desktop and draw in Photoshop with the Apple Pencil. It's animated on 2s which means it runs at 15 frames per second. I didn't want anyone to think this was a filter or AI!

@topapate Is it possible to play Forgotten Worlds on MiSTer? The rotation is incredibly slow even when I set sensitivity to "highest". It would be good if it could spin as fast as the Genesis version, which is more or less perfect in regards to digital control.

The comment sections on older videos can be strange to look at these days.

@benheck @Voultar Yes, it will save them a lot of money which I believe is the point, but they'll also make more money by not stamping discs. They're not purposely thinking "Haha we WILL revoke your license in the future!!" but... they will likely do that decades down the road.

@GameSack @Voultar I don't even think it's "Hahaha we can revoke your game license", more like "Hahaha we don't have to manufacture 100 million Blu-Ray drives" When was the last time anyone here stuck a CD into their car? Do you even know if there's a slot for it?

I think this is missing the forest for the trees. Nobody gives a shit whether it's Blu ray in 2030 or something else. The point is that Sony is walking away from ownership entirely. The medium isn't the issue. Replacing something you own with a revocable license and charging the same price is.

@benheck @Voultar I don' think it's homes and cars that are causing this, I think it's two things. One is of course company greed. They make more by charging the same or slightly less price for digital as physical. Two is convenience. Lots of people don't seem to mind digital.

@Voultar The entire WORLD is moving away from ownership. With things a lot more important than videogames - like homes and cars. Not saying it's right. Saying why would Sony take a different path?
