This Afroman saga has been a great spectacle to witness and knowing firsthand how corrupt and scummy these backroads police are here in Ohio situations like Afroman have probably happened by the hundreds and gone unreported. They deserve every bit of it. I love to see it

The Afroman Trial. -Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons. -Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up. -No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman. -Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras. -Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives. -During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat. -The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation. -Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit. -Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them. -One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife. -As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE. -The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman. This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.

@Chris6d_ @MegaGyarados2 I think there's a good place for it in the game and this game serves a perfect example of that. Umpires can't be perfect, they're human and the tech will improve the overall quality of the game IMO

@SubToOptimus Ump had a bigger zone and was calling pitches like that all game. Tough way to end for the DR, but you almost have to be swinging in that situation because you know the ump has been calling those pitches outside the zone.

Perfect circumstances in this instance would be to have an umpire who wasn't making shit calls repeatedly against both teams throughout the game. They had other opportunities to win the game too, it's a shit call but what they could control they didn't and what they couldn't control hurt them more and that lost it for them.

@SubToOptimus Bro they didn't expect anything close to perfect circumstances, they would've had runners at the corners but the umpire made the worst strike 3 call I've ever seen on live TV.

Ideally in the ninth inning of a massive tournament game the umpire SHOULD make the right call but yes you can’t assume they always will. That being said that call was garbage asf as were many calls throughout the entire game. I figured we should win being up going into the 9th but Miller was a few pitches away from advancing DR there and got away with a big one at the end

@SubToOptimus Too close to take on a 3-2 count in the bottom of the 9th. this is baseball you can’t assume the umpire is gonna make the right call. It sucks to end the game on a miscall, but usa played better all 9 innings and deserve to go to the finals missed call or not

@SubToOptimus The ump did the same thing in the top 9 to us. He was given very generous for low balls. But yea bad way to end a great game tho.
